Rochester Arc & Flame held their grand opening on Saturday and it looks to be an amazing facility. Some of the Rochester Artisans with whom I went to the Extreme Materials 2 exhibit were heading over there after our lunch and now I regret not going too! Check out the photos from the opening on their Facebook page.

This is a 5000 square foot facility, designed and built specifically for teaching welding, glass working and blacksmithing for students of all levels. Rochester Artisan Marusca Gatto is one of their instructors!

Classes begin Tuesday and as they say on their site, “Release your inner flame!”

Note: I’ll be happy to give the artists of these other pieces credit – please email me!
