Art Excess (non-charity) This is a Facebook group I created in February 2013 as a place to rid your studio of art related materials. Here you can post items you want to give away, barter for or sell outright. Interested parties then connect with you to make arrangements for pick-up at your home. It’s super easy – check the notes in the About tab at the top of the group page. You do have to join the Art Excess Facebook group to participate. It’s an open group – so anyone can invite anyone. Or click the Join Group button in the upper right corner and I’ll pronounce you a member!

With Love From Friends
Grassroots Projects Honoring Elders
Begun in 2008 by Eve Elzenga, interior designer and community volunteer, the “With Love, From Friends” project — making homemade Valentines for Rochester, NY area elders without families — is held in mid-to-late January each year. “With Love, From Friends” refers to the message written inside each card.
