4th Annual Central Library Ornament Contest
You can win $100.00 prize for the Most Creative Ornament!

Ornaments must be a minimum of 18” and maximum of 36“width, 48” length. They can be made from any material, such as styrofoam, papier-mâché, mylar, felt, yarn, glitter, beads, cardboard, or fabric. Be creative! Since they will hang from the ceiling, the finished ornament must not weigh more than 5 lbs.

The ornament should reflect the festivity of the season, or the beauty of winter. We cannot accept ornaments with religious or political slogans or images, including references to religious holidays, or ornaments that advertise a product or for-profit business.

Ornaments should be brought to the Arts Division by November 17, 2014.

Fill out this form and either email it to us at: artref@libraryweb.org or bring it in to us. We are located on the 2nd floor of the B&L Building at 115 South Avenue, Rochester, NY.

Artists may take their ornaments home after January 12, 2015. Ornaments not picked up by February 2, 2015 become the property of the Rochester Public Library. We reserve the right to refuse any ornaments that do not meet the criteria stated above, or are considered inappropriate for display.
