On the Irondequoit Art Trail Again

Lisa Zaccour is an Irondequoit artist who had a dream… to create a way to spotlight Irondequoit artists and showcase her town as an art destination.

When she set out on her voyage to do this, she met then-curator of the Irondequoit I-Gallery, Zanne Brunner. Along with six other artists and their
creative minds, The Irondequoit Art Trail was born, in 2012.

Since then, the annual event has featured up to 25 artists showing and selling their work. This year The Trail will be held on Friday, July 24th from 5:30pm to 8:30pm and on Saturday, July 25th from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Brochures that include the Trail map will be available at both branches of the Irondequoit library, the Irondequoit Town Hall, and at The Artists Cave,
a new art gallery and exhibit space located at 4639 Culver Road, right across from Seabreeze.

The owner of The Artists Cave, John Lenhard, one of the founding members of the Irondequoit Art Trail, is hosting an Opening Reception for participating artists on July 17th from 7pm to 9pm. We invite you to stop by, see samples of the artists’ work and then make your plans to join us on The Trail! Watch for the Art Trail signs as you travel The Trail and have fun!

Hours are 10 to 2, Monday through Thursday.

Samples of the artists’ work and maps will also be available at their sponsor business locations. Click the Paula Peters Marra painting above for further details about participating artists and the locations of their work.
